Accessibility Statement

\We at DarkSkope Limited are working to make our site darkskope.com accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

This website is run by DarkSkope Ltd. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. That means you should be able to:
   •    change colours, contrast levels and fonts
   •    zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
   •    navigate most of the site using a keyboard
   •    navigate most of the site using speech recognition software
   •    listen to most of the site using a screen reader
   •    use the site on modern desktop and mobile browsers

We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA as our target standard. If you find any part of the site hard to use, please tell us so we can put it right.

Technical information about this site’s accessibility

DarkSkope is committed to making its website accessible, in line with good practice based on WCAG 2.2 AA.

Compliance status
We are currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. We’re working through the items below and will update this statement as we fix them.

Known limitations
   •    Some older PDFs and slide decks are not fully accessible to screen readers.

Planned fix: We’ll replace or remediate key documents by 31 December 2025.

   •    A small number of images may be missing descriptive alt text.

Workaround: Email us and we’ll provide a text alternative within 5 working days.

Planned fix: Ongoing editor training and checks.

   •    Third-party embeds (e.g. maps, video players, scheduling or chat widgets) may not offer full keyboard support.

Workaround: Contact us for an alternative route to the same information or service.

   •    Colour contrast on some legacy pages may fall just short of AA.

Planned fix: Design refresh rolling out by 31 December 2025.

Content not within scope

Third-party content that we neither fund nor control (for example embedded social media content) is not in scope of WCAG compliance, but we still try to provide an accessible alternative.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility
   •    Semantic HTML throughout; ARIA only where needed
   •    Pre-publish automated checks on new pages
   •    Periodic manual reviews with assistive technologies
   •    Editor training and a pre-publish accessibility checklist
   •    Accessible colour palette and visible focus states in our design system

Compatibility

This site is designed to work with the latest two versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop, and the default browsers on iOS and Android. Older browsers may have reduced support.
